Plot Synopsis:
Federico Fellini's warm and nostalgic tribute to the past, to old values, and to old stars.
Using two of his favorite performers, wife Giulietta Masina and Marcello Mastroianni, Fellini tells the story of two retired hoofers who return to Rome to appear on a TV variety show. Though the city has decayed, though the small screen has overtaken the glamour of cinema, though they themselves have grown older, this small-time Astaire-and-Rogers team somehow creates magic as they glide across the floor for one last dance...
