You'll have a smile on your face while you enjoy this fun film.

Amazing performances by talented teens. Especially TOMMY DIX and his amazing baritone voice, stealing the show with his outstanding performance of "Buckle Down, Winsocki." You'll be singing along with him before its over. He also sang "Winsocki" during the run of Best Foot Forward on Broadway in 1941-1942. I would have given anything to see him bring the house down in person. Incredible achievement for a 16 year old.

Lucy is great, appearing as herself. Although light by today's standards, and possibly a bit dated in parts, the talented actors are so enjoyable and good, far better than todays, that you end up wishing you were dragged to the Prom.

I can see where this movie, a hit when it came out in 1943 lifted the spirits of a heartbroken nation in the throws of World War II. A job well done.
