Established as a modern blues player, Robert Cray has taken the influence of blues masters such as Albert Collins and Johnny Copeland, melded it with Southern soul music from the 1960s, and carved out a whole new sound with his own distinct style. With greater emphasis on keyboards this time around, TIME WILL TELL blends influences from world music and pop into Cray's tasty brew, proving his ambition to push blues into the future.
