Description by OLDIES.com:
The legendary concert film "Ladies & Gentlemen...The Rolling Stones" has been fully restored and remastered from the original film print and multi-track audio masters and now finally receives its first authorized release on DVD. Filmed in Texas in 1972 over four nights of the "Exile On Main Street" US tour, "Ladies & Gentlemen" was premiered at the Ziegfeld Theatre in New York on April 15, 1974 and released into selected cinemas across the USA shortly afterward. It was billed at the time as "...the most powerful rock film ever made" and is considered by many fans to be the finest Rolling Stones performance ever captured on film. This deluxe 3-disc set features: "Ladies & Gentlemen" DVD; "Stones in Exile" DVD; plus an exclusive 3rd disc, featuring rare & never before seen footage from their Dick Cavett Show appearance, assorted interviews, & footage from the Australian Exile on Main Street Tour and a clip from Madison Square Garden featuring the Stones with Stevie Wonder! The package also includes an exclusive Rolling Stones scarf; reproduction of the original "Ladies & Gentlemen" film poster; 2 35mm film cells from "Ladies & Gentlemen;" a 60-page book with never before seen photos; all packaged in an individually numbered box.
