As co-written by Phillip Guzman and Mick Rossi and directed by Guzman, this direct-to-video crime thriller opens with a seemingly perfect caper: Gully Mercer (Rossi), one of the most hardened criminals alive, stages a diabolical heist at 2:22am one snowy New Year's Eve, at The Grange - a luxury hotel with a packed vault of safety deposit boxes. Their scheme involves tying up and impersonating the building's night staff, and lifting the boxes from the premises. For a time everything unfolds according to plan, but over the course of the evening, difficult and demanding guests begin to cause massive complications. Val Kilmer lends a supporting role as an eccentric jewelry expert; the supporting cast also includes Peter Dobson and Bruce Kirby.
