Finnish director Jarmo Lampela produces a touching human drama composed of several short stories, similar to Richard Linklater's SLACKER or Jim Jarmusch's NIGHT ON EARTH. A waitress drums up romance at work. A factory worker returns home to find his wife in bed with another man. An elderly woman grapples with the impending death of her hospital-bound husband. These and other stories show the range of bittersweet emotions that define the human condition.
