Performers, Cast and Crew:
A 1977 homage to the B-movies of the 1950s, THE DAY IT CAME TO EARTH finds a meteorite containing an alien life form crashing to Earth in the same pond as the corpse of a recently deceased Mafia murder victim in Little Rock, AK. Meanwhile, some students at a local college get the bright idea to use this pond to go swimming, only to encounter the reanimated corpse, which has become a flesh eating zombie.
Description by Image Entertainment:
A zombie activated by forces from another world embarks on a grisly killing spree in this wonderful regional romp from the last great days of the drive-in. Not much is happening on a typical Saturday night in Little Rock, Arkansas, apart from college campus panty raids and cuties in scanties heating up the hormones of local frat cats on the prowl. Suddenly a flaming meteor crashes into a nearby swamp and unleashes a lifeform so terrifying it defies description or destruction!
