Another fine effort from Rod Piazza and the Mighty Flyers, Alphabet Blues alternates between first-rate slow blues and cooking uptempo boogies and shuffles, both of which showcase their versatile, many-sided talents. There are a few weak songs, but the album on the whole is quite entertaining. ~ Thom Owens
