Best known for her backup vocal work with Al Kooper, Cat Stevens and especially David Bowie (on Aladdin Sane), this London-born diva possessed one of the most distinctive voices and styles in early-'70s soul, with a range (both vocal and emotional) that was simply prodigious.
This 1972 album featured Linda with a crack rhythm section of Pat Donaldson and Gerry Conway (soon to work with John Cale), with production from he rromantic interest at the time, Family member Jim Cregan. Progressive, adventurous soul!
