Best known for her backup vocal work with Al Kooper, Cat Stevens and especially David Bowie (on Aladdin Sane), this London-born diva possessed one of the most distinctive voices and styles in early-'70s soul, with a range (both vocal and emotional) that was simply prodigious.
This 1972 album featured Linda with a crack rhythm section of Pat Donaldson and Gerry Conway (soon to work with John Cale), with production from he rromantic interest at the time, Family member Jim Cregan. Progressive,adventurous soul!
