Wild East DVD presents Peter Lee Lawrence (German actor Karl Hirenbach) in two of his best films. In Alfonso Brescia's Killer Caliber .32 (aka 32 Caliber Killer), Lawrence plays a bounty hunter named Silver, who is hired to stop a series of stagecoach robberies. The simple good guys versus bad guys plot is the work of Lorenzo Gicca Palli (aka Enzo Gicca) whose repertoire ranges from Hercules The Avenger with Reg Park to Blackie The Pirate with Terence Hill. Also in the cast are Spaghetti Western regulars Mirko Ellis and Nello Pazzafini (both from The Man From Nowhere) and Andrea Bosic (Fort Yuma Gold). The alluring women in the film are Agnes Spaak and Helene Chanel (Sherill Morgan).
In Killer Adios (aka Winchester One OF One Thousand), Lawrence plays a pistolero who flees the town of Fulton City after a gunfight and returns five years later only to find the town in the middle of a struggle for control between two ruthless town bosses. He takes a job as a deputy for his old friend the town sheriff (Luis Induni) again and proceeds to clean up the town amid lots of violence. Director Primo Zeglio (uncredited co-director of Morgan The Pirate with Steve Reeves) keeps the complicated plot moving. He wrote the screenplay with co-writers Mario Amendola (The Great Silence) and Mallorqui Figueroa (Medusa Against The Son Of Hercules). Accomplished cinematography by frequent Western contributor Julio Ortas (Apocalypse Joe, Bullets Don't Argue) and an atmospheric score by Claudio Tallino help the pace of the film. Both Killer Caliber .32 and Killer Adios are presented in their original theatrical aspect ratios.
