As several members of the revolutionary army are introduced, viewers learn how and why they became involved in the cause. Shaknazarov delves beyond the surface in an exploration of what makes a person fight for a terrorist cause, and the affects that such an obsession can have on the human psyche. Widely praised by critics, THE RIDER NAMED DEATH features strong performances, set design, and extravagant costumes.
