Plot Synopsis:

While working at a summer camp during vacation from Hunter College, a teenage girl rebels from her middle-class Jewish upbringing by falling in with a second-rate theatrical troupe and by falling in love with the charismatic leading man. The film is adapted from Herman Wouk's best-seller.
