Product Description:

A cousin of both Jerry Lee Lewis and the Reverend Jimmy Swaggart, singer Mickey Gilley took several years to discover that his brand of music was best suited to the country charts. Gilley's honky-tonk versions of soul classics and country standards made him one of the biggest country stars of the 1970s and '80s, as well as the undisputed king of the "Urban Cowboy" scene. This program captures Gilley live in concert, performing a retrospective of favorites that includes "I'm the One Mama Warned You About," "Don't the Girls All Get Prettier at Closing Time," "A Headache Tomorrow (Or a Heartache Tonight)," and a cover of his cousin's classic "Great Balls of Fire."
