This is a pretty good bargain-priced collection, limited to eight songs that should make the most casual fans happy. The sound is very good and the selection of songs wouldn't make a bad AM country station set, if it weren't so obvious -- at these prices, purchasers neither want nor expect surprises; so we get Lynn Anderson's hits from the pen of Joe South ("Rose Garden," "How Can I Unlove You," "Fool Me"), plus her rendition of the Richard Carpenter/John Bettis "Top of the World," plus the somewhat harder "What a Man, My Man Is" and "You're My Man," all in excellent fidelity. ~ Bruce Eder
