Set in the late-1800's, the show followed the fortunes of a female doctor in Colorado Springs. Among the higlights are a visit from a Russian Princess, who appears to be blessed with some special powers; a shocking outbreak of diptheria; a threat against Dr. Mike's life from an overly-aggresive patient; and a dramatic finale to the show which is packed full of all the tension and excitement fans have come to expect.
