THE FIRST BREEZE OF SUMMER follows a turbulent time in a working class African-American family, where two unhappy sons come to a head with their stern, overworked father, while the grandmother wistfully recalls her long-lost youthful affairs. The program features Frances Foster and Moses Gunn.

This complex and emotional drama tells the story of the man's now-elderly mother who recalls, through flashbacks, her youthful affairs with three different men who loved and abandoned her. Stars Frances Foster (Crooklyn) and Emmy-nominee Moses Gunn (Roots, Ragtime).
