Product Description:

The sequel to WINGS OF DESIRE, in which a number of angels, forbidden to interfere with the affairs of humans, watch suspended over the streets of post Cold War Berlin as a tale of intrigue unfolds, has an excellent soundtrack which features tracks by Lou Reed and U2.

Plot Synopsis:

In this sequel to "Wings of Desire," the angel Cassiel, who watches over humanity with pity, sympathy and love, gives up his wings in order to understand how humans feel and think. As he wanders through the troubled city of Berlin, experiencing the new sensations of his earthly body, Cassiel becomes involved in a complex series of events having to do with former Nazis, smuggled weapons and long-lost relatives.
