Released a year before his all-star collaboration Supernatural LP gained him a whole new audience, 1998's The Best Of rounds up the most iconic tracks from the first half of Carlos Santana and his band's illustrious career. Focusing more on their late-60s and early-'70s material, it features early singles "Jingo," "Evil Ways," and the Fleetwood Mac cover "Black Magic Woman," alongside 13 other Latin-tinged rock classics, with "Bella," from 1987's Blues for Salvador, being the most recent inclusion. ~ Jon O'Brien
