"...The Turtles themselves are better-natured than ever..."
When April discovers a tarnished, old scepter in a second hand store and mysteriously disappears, the ninja turtles must devise a plan to rescue her. Racing against time and an army of samurai warriors, these half-shell hipsters face unfamiliar surroundings and unfriendly faces when they are transported back in time to 17th century Japan.
Everybody's favorite giant turtles travel through time and space to feudal Japan to rescue their plucky sidekick April, when a golden sword accidentally causes her to switch places with a rebellious samurai.
