Mr Wong Mystery Collection
Movie Lover: Lon from Kansas City, MO US -- January, 9, 2008
These come in a extremely nice wooden case....4 DVD's. The road scenes can be a little dark at times but mostly nice clear picture with great sound. I don't remember seeing these as a kid...but I do remember Mr Wrong. It is not quit Charlie Chan....but still pretty good. If you choose to buy these you will not be disappointed...I wasn't.

Great Mysteries, Great Transfer
Movie Lover: Ray Bromley from Arizona -- December, 28, 2003
If you enjoy mysteries from the 30's and 40's consider this collection. These films, among the best produced by Monogram Pictures, are well written and nicely acted. While the only big names are the stars (Boris Karloff and Keye Luke) the other performances are great and include some recognizable character actors. This collection includes four of the six films in the Mr. Wong series, and will leave you wanting more.
I was particularly delighted to see the quality of both the prints and the digital tansfer. There are only a few scenes in which either the original film or the digital transfer are not pristine, and even these are quite watchable.
