A collection of Hans Zimmer movie scores written for five productions, including Beyond Rangoon, Backdraft, and Point of No Return, Good Morning America showcases the German-born composer's remarkable command of cinematic mood. His spare melodies mostly eschew unnecessary drama, as evidenced by his work on Rangoon, but, as the excerpts from Backdraft prove, he's more than capable of bringing out the big orchestral guns when the situation demands.
