Recorded between 1956 and 1963, these romantic recordings show the pianist Bill Evans at his most expressive, performing songs written by composers as varied as Miles Davis and Rodgers and Hart. He's accompanied on six tracks by his legendary trio, featuring the drummer Paul Motian and the bassist Scott LaFaro.
