At California's Malibu Beach you'll find everything: hot, hunky, sun-bronzed surfers, bikini-clad chicks stacked to Pasadena, rock 'n' rollers, beatniks, booze, beer and something else...a hideous reptilian monster with a hunger for bitchin' babes. Dance to the rockin' tunes, "Monster in the Surf" and "More Than Wanting You." Chill to the ghastly monster as it stalks its prey. Thrill as the surf-studs ride the big ones in a drive-in '60s romp that will scare the yell out of you! Great fun! (Wade Williams)
Black-and-white with color surfing sequences, this campy classic also offers a Frank Sinatra Jr. bongo drum score as the monster stalks beach bunnies. Cool, Daddy-O!

The Beach Girls and The Monster brings together two of the most popular genres in 1960's cinema: monster horror and beach movies. My favorite part was the dance scenes by the girls in bikinis(who were actually the Watusi Girls from the Whiskey A-Go-Go in Los Angeles). There was some funny moments in the film like the lion puppet singing along with the beach girls. This is a interesting film to watch.
