Though he is the brother of super producer/songwriter Babyface, Kevon Edmonds has made a name for himself through years of success as lead vocalist for the group After 7. He also had a hit with Milestone ("I Care About You"), which appeared on the SOUL FOOD soundtrack. 24/7 is Edmunds' debut solo album and boasts tracks like "When I am With You" and "Love Will Be Waiting," which offer up the sweet sound of this vocalist's range.
Joining Kevon for a duet is brother Babyface on "A Girl Like You." The stunning ballad demonstrates the emotive power of strong songwriting. Other tracks that shine include the title cut, "I Want You More," and the soaring ballad "Baby Come to Me." 24/7 is guaranteed to have the staying power that its title suggests.
