Classic Ray Stevens isn't an accurate title for this nine-track collection. There are no hits here, only re-recorded versions of such novelties as "If Ten Percent Is Good Enough for Jesus (It Oughta Be Enough for Uncle Sam)," "The Higher Education of Ole Blue," "Super Cop," "If You and Yo' Folks Like Me and My Folks," "The All-American Two Week Summer Family Vacation," and "The Motel Song." Although there are better collections available, this isn't a bad choice for casual fans on a budget. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine

If you're only going to but one Ray Stevens cd, this is the one. Ray is at his crazy best on this disk. Ray has a great voice and is a great singer. I enjoy the wild sense of humor in all of his songs.
