The Bela Lugosi Collection is a must-have for any Bela Lugosi fan.
It features five brilliant Lugosi films: The Black Cat, The Raven, The Invisible Ray,
Black Friday and Murders in the Rue Morgue, all of which are classic horror films.
This collection also features Boris Karloff, who stars in four of the films.
The Black Cat is, above all, the best film in this collection. Bela blends beautifully with Boris Karloff in this picture.
He portrays, for once, the more humane character of Vitus Werdegast.
The Raven is second best. It, too, pairs Lugosi with Karloff. They work very well together in this film as well. Bela stars as Dr. Richard Vollin.
The Invisible Ray is a thrilling, must see for any Lugosi or Karloff fan. Bela stars as Dr. Benet.
Black Friday features Lugosi in a cameo, but is still a great film to see. Boris Karloff takes the lead in this picture, with Bela portraying a gangster.
Murders in the Rue Morgue is a classic film.
This film does NOT star Boris Karloff, but is a great film for any Bela Lugosi fan. Bela stars as
Dr. Mirakle.
I recommend this collection for any horror fan. It contains five great classics that anyone would enjoy.
