Though they consistently checked in as superstars in their native England -- on par critically and commercially with contemporaries the Who and the Rolling Stones -- the psychedelic, R&B-fueled rock act the Small Faces failed to catch fire in America. They did succeed at indelibly reshaping British rock, however, with such singles as "Itchycoo Park," "Lazy Sunday," and "Sha-La-La-La-Lee," as well as their magnum opus album, OGDEN'S NUT GONE FLAKE (1968). This retrospective homage to the band brings into a single collection 27 performances culled from different concerts and television broadcasts, including renditions of all the aforementioned singles plus nine tunes from OGDEN'S.
