Description by OLDIES.com:
15 years after its theatrical release, The Toxic Avenger has become one of the most popular and recognizable superhuman heroes in film history. He is America's favorite hideously deformed creature of superhuman size and strength. An unprecedented success, The Toxic Avenger spawned two sequels, an animated television series, "Toxic Crusaders," and a full line of Tromatic merchandise. Join Toxie as he crushes heads, rips off arms, and takes women to that very special toxic climax.
A 98-pound weakling falls into a barrel of toxic waste and is transformed into a towering hulk of sludge wearing a tutu. At times very gross, the film has developed a cult following.
One moment Melvin's a 90 pound weakling, and the next -- with a little help from some toxic waste -- he's THE TOXIC AVENGER! Now Melvin's in shape to get back at all the creeps who have ever tormented him. So those bad guys had better watch out... because Melvin's got superpowers beyond their imagination.
