I was given this box set for Christmas a few years ago, and tracks from it have been on my iPod ever since.

I'm a real lover of oldies, and I have several CD collections from this website. Let me tell you that this particular box set is the cream of the crop.

great value for the money

This has got to be one of the best Christmas presents ever for someone between the age of 50 and 70. I bought two last year, and the recipients LOVED them. I'm buying another two this year. This package looks like it's a $100 gift!

This are the Best CD's and it's the Best Price. Try and find this much music for this price, you won't. Timelife has nothing on Oldies.com when it comes to music and Timelife can't beat these prices. So if you want the best original songs at a great price you will love the History of Rock CD set. I also bought all the Time Capsules CD's. I love Oldies.com and I hope they stay in business for a long long time. If you go to stores and buy your CD's you are wasting your money and time.

It is a lot of good music at a very reasonable price. It came in a very nice, laquered box. A lot of music for the price and I am very pleased with it, and pleased that there is an Oldies.com specializing in making the music available. I have never minded paying for my music, it's just not always possibe to find. High recommendation. Thanks.

Wow, got this set today and cannot believe how well the audio is, even on my inexpensive computer speakers. Crystal clear sound, exceptional quality and a selection that will transport you back to the good old days! I cannot recommend this set highly enough for anyone who loves the oldies but goodies.

What I especially like is the mix of the relatively older tracks interspersed with more recent (but still "oldies") songs. One is treated to a variety that is based more on rhythm and content rather then sticking to a timeline, making your listening experience more interesting.

And this set IS a bargain. I checked other online sources and none of them come even close to this price. Buy it before it's too late. You will not regret it; in fact, I count it as my favorite music collection to date. Thank you, Oldies.com!

My son gave me this set for my birthday last
week and I just love it! All songs are by the
original artists and they are all in brand new
condition. The box that they came in is very
classy and makes my storing of them so much
easier. I do not have a real expensive cd player,
but the sound from these cd's are very high quality. I was also given a huge catalog that came with the set and I will be buying many more cd's for myself from this catalog. Thank You so

I was Real Happy with this set - I have a lot of R&R compilation sets but this on had some songs that were new to me !!! One of my great joys is to hear a song on a compilation that inspires me to buy a CD by that artist - this set made me order a Chantels CD from Oldies (First Girrl Group) Please please please buy this set!!!!!

this is absolutely the greatest collection of doo wop ever compiled in one set. every song that you think of is available here. great way to introduce youngsters to our music.
