Performers, Cast and Crew:
After an incantation reanimates a monster serpent, a hardened Army vet (rapper DMX) jolts into action.
Twenty years ago, Alan Cade, a 10-year-old with an abusive, alcoholic father, sought refuge in a fantasy life, drawing monsters and exploring local farms and forests with best friend Becky. On one such outing, the pair enters the ramshackle hut of Crazy Kirabo, an old Haitian voodoo priest, and Alan steals a small wooden box containing an ancient demonic writing tool, the Kulev Stick.
Returning home to find his father once again beating his mother, Alan draws a giant serpent biting his dad's head off and is shocked to find moments later that his drawing has come to life. As he watches his father's body dragged off by the snake, a terrified Alan buries the stick in the garden.
Now grown, married to Becky and still living in his childhood home, Alan leads a contented life, unaware that Becky has recently unearthed the powerful Kulev Stick. When Becky is run over and killed by a group of vacationing, reckless teens, Alan, consumed by grief and anger, once again draws the vicious snake, which begins a murderous rampage against the youths.
The only thing standing in the serpent's way is Army special ops vet Nick Kirabo (rap and blockbuster movie star DMX, Romeo Must Die, Exit Wounds, Cradle to the Grave), the priest's grandson, who has waited for “Lockjaw” to return. Can the survivors find a way to destroy the creature and save themselves before they become the next victims' Wait and sssssssssssee...
