Are all one-disc Moody Blues best-of albums created equal? No, some have more songs than others do. What's the deal with this one? It's a re-mastered version of the band's GREATEST HITS album, originally released in 1989, with the 11-song sequence re-shuffled. Is it worth hearing? If you're a Moody Blues fan, of course. All the big hits pre-dating the '90s are here, from the pioneering orchestral pomp of "Nights in White Satin," to the sweetly retro-romanticism of "Your Wildest Dreams." Even better, the re-mastered sound is if anything even lusher than you might remember. Not definitive, of course, but good value for the money.
