Biography
Michigan, USA-based experimental noise band Wolf Eyes began in 1997 as a solo project for former Nautical Almanac and the Beast People member Nate Young (vocals). The introduction of Aaron Dilloway (guitar, ex-the Beast People) in 1999 and John Olson (drums) the following year completed the original line-up, with all three members boasting lengthy careers in the Michigan underground scene. Dilloways relocation to Nepal in 2005 saw Mike Connelly of Hair Police taking his place. Disliking the conventional label of a band, Wolf Eyes prefer to be known as a family, which is just one aspect of their unique appeal. Working with a direct philosophy towards music, Wolf Eyes keep their equipment to the absolute minimum, often preferring to make their own from old radios and other thrift shop finds.
