The Pixies influenced countless bands with their raw yet melodic brand of quirky alt rock, including the Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, USA-based punk pop outfit Weston. Formed in the early 90s, Weston was originally comprised of Dave Weston (guitar/vocals), Chris Benner (guitar), Chuck (bass/vocals), and Jeremiah Attanasio (drums). Supposedly, the bands name came about as a tribute of sorts for the front mans parents, who allowed the band to rehearse at their house early on. It took the trio a few years to build up steam and although several singles were released along the way, it was not until 1994 that they issued a proper debut, A Real Life Story Of Teenage Rebellion.
