Vesta Williams, Coshocton, Ohio, USA. R&B singer-songwriter Williams grew up in California, where her father was a DJ at KGFJ-Los Angeles. She is best known for her late 80s hits ‘Once Bitten, Twice Shy’ (1986) and ‘Congratulations’ (1989).
