These artist can still sing

Keep in mind these are newly recorded songs as mentioned below. This a great collection showing off that these artist can still sing and belt out a great Doo Wop. A few songs are too heavily produced with todays sound and lack the rawness of 50s doowop, but over all a great set to add to your collection. Well worth the money.

I grew up during the rock & roll explosion in the 50's. WOW! I know the groups on this CD, but did not know any of the song titles. I thought that every song on this collection was great. If any one out there likes 'Old Soul' and doesn't demand only the hits, this collection is a welcomed surprise!

I have most of these songs already in my collection, and love just about all these artists' work from their heydays (1950's and early 60's). These songs are all relatively new recordings (10 to 25 years old). It's amazing how these guys' sound just as good or better than when they were 17, 18 year old kids. Truly AMAZING! A real treat for the casual Doo Wop fan and a MUST HAVE for the Doo Wop collector.

If Doo Wop is your genre then you wont't get better than this. I must admit that I have not heard many of the featured artists before but the compilation is excellent. Considering how old the tracks are the engineering and mastering is superb. Finally the collection is great value for money so if you are not into Doo Wop you won't get a better introduction than this without spending all of your pocket money.
