Accomplished bluegrass outfit the Grascals is the recording outlet for six experienced session players; Jamie Johnson (Indiana, USA; guitar/vocals), Danny Roberts (b. Kentucky, USA; mandolin), David Talbot (b. Canada; banjo/vocals), Jimmy Mattingly (b. Kentucky, USA; fiddle), Terry Smith (bass) and Terry Eldredge (b. Indiana, USA; vocals). Between them the sextet can boast experience performing with artists including Bill Monroe, Jimmy Martin, Lonzo And Oscar and Wilma Lee Cooper. Eldredge, Smith and Mattingly also played together on stage with the Osborne Brothers, while Talbot and Eldredge spent several years with Larry Cordle And Lonesome Standard Time. Most of the members also worked together in the Sidemen, playing every week on a Tuesday night at the Station Inn in Nashville.
