
Biography
Formed in Flint-Saginaw, Michigan, USA, Frost revolved around the talents of guitarist, songwriter, producer Dick Wagner. During the mid-60s he led the Bossmen, regional contemporaries of ? And The Mysterians and Terry Knight And The Pack. The Bossmen held sway at Saginaw's leading club, Daniel's Den, and completed six singles for local labels including Dicto Records, Soft Records and Lucky Eleven Records. These included the Searchers-like "Here's Congratulations" and the Beatles-influenced "Help Me Baby". The Bossmen were later billed as Dick Wagner And The Frosts. As such they completed two singles, "Bad Girl" and "Little Girl", before Wagner formed Frost with Don Hartman, Gerdy Garris and Bob Riggs in 1969. Frost secured a recording contract with Vanguard Records and the excellent Frost Music followed.
