Biography
The second musical venture formed by Brighton-based brothers Alex White (Brighton, East Sussex, England; vocals/guitar) and Tom White (b. Brighton, East Sussex, England; drums). The duo recorded three self-funded albums under the name Feltro Media before signing a recording contract with db Records in 2001. Opting to jettison their original moniker, the duo were briefly known as Soft Parade before the threat of legal action from a Doors tribute band forced a slight alteration. The Whites recorded most of the material for the Electric Soft Parade debut in their bedroom using digital mixing programmes and an iMac. Holes In The Wall was an impressive work by two musicians barely out of their mid-teens, and gained acclaim from all sectors of the music press.
