Biography
This US crypto-punk band came from the active Philadelphian underground scene of the mid-80s and drew members who rejoiced in the unlikely names Joe Jack Talcum (Joe Genaro; guitar/vocals), Rodney Anonymous Melloncamp (b. Rodney Linderman; vocals), Dave Blood (b. David Schulthise, 1957, USA, d. 10 March 2004, Westchester, New York, USA; bass), and Dean Clean (b. Dean Sabatino; drums). With each of their album titles punning a more famous rock release and songs such as Takin Retards To The Zoo, Beach Party Vietnam, and The Thing That Only Eats Hippies, the Dead Milkmen were always destined for college favouritism.
