Biography

Created by the Walt Disney Company during the filming of the movie of the same name, this US pop group enjoyed commercial success in its own right in the years after the film’s 2003 release. Based on the teenage books by writer Deborah Gregory, the line-up of the Cheetah Girls in the movie comprised actress/singer Raven-Symoné (Raven-Symoné Christina Pearman, 10 December 1985, Atlanta, Georgia, USA), former 3LW singers Adrienne Bailon (b. 24 October 1983, New York City, New York, USA) and Kiely Williams (b. 9 July 1986, Alexandria, Virginia, USA), and actress/singer Sabrina Bryan (b. Reba Sabrina Hinojos, 16 September 1984, Yorba Linda, California, USA). The quartet appeared on the attendant soundtrack performing ‘Cheetah Sisters’, ‘Cinderella’, ‘Girl Power’ and ‘Together We Can’.
