Thalía Ariadna Sodi Miranda, 26 August 1971, Mexico City, Mexico. One of Mexicos most popular singers and actresses, Thalia first started performing at the age of nine with the childrens act Din-Din, appearing with the group at festivals and on four studio albums. She moved on to the teen pop group Timbiriche in 1984, singing on three of their albums and appearing in front of record-breaking audiences throughout Latin America. During this period Thalia moved into acting with roles in the soap operas La Pobre Señorita Limantour, Quinceañera and Luz Y Sombra. She recorded her self-titled debut album with producer Alfredo Diaz Ordaz, and building on its success relocated to Spain to co-host the variety show VIP De Noche.
