Biography
This old-style US hip-hop crew was formed in 1998 by veteran rapper Fat Joe (Joseph Cartagena, 19 August 1970, the Bronx, New York City, New York, USA). He was joined by regular collaborator Big Punisher (b. Christopher Rios, 9 November 1971, the Bronx, New York City, USA, d. 7 February 2000, White Plains, New York City, New York, USA), young rappers Cuban Link (b. Felix Delgado, Havana, Cuba), Armageddon (b. John Eaddy), Triple Seis (b. Samuel Garcia) and Prospect, and vocalist Tony Sunshine (b. Antonio Cruz). The Terror Squad made their recording debut in 1998 on Fat Joes Don Cartagena, and released a self-titled album the following year. Big Punisher died not long afterwards but Fat Joes star continued to rise with the release of 2001s Jealous Ones Still Envy and the following years Loyalty.
