Biography
Formed in Seattle, Washington, USA, in 1994, Super Deluxe comprise Braden Blake (guitar, vocals), John Kirsch (guitar), Jake Nasheim (bass) and Chris Lockwood (drums). Playing deft power pop with obtuse but extrovert lyrics, they signed with the UK independent label Indolent Records in 1996, leading to the release of their debut single, She Came On. An album, Famous, followed in September. Their reputation was initially established with 18 months of touring across the USA. Via Satellite featured ex-Posies guitarist Jon Auer on I Can See.
