Biography
New York band formed in 1975 by guitarist Brendan Harkin, drummer Joey X Dube and bass player Peter Sweval. Whilst looking for musicians to complete their line-up they worked as session men and also recorded a soundtrack to the porn film Divine Obsession. The following year they recruited guitarist Richie Ranno and vocalist Michael Lee Smith and signed to Capitol Records, who released the hit single, Shes Just A Fallen Angel, and the album Starz. Two more albums followed in 1977 before Harkin and Sweval left to be replaced by Bobby Messano and Orville Davies, respectively. This line-up recorded the monumental Colisseum Rock set which took them to a worldwide audience. What followed was two years of touring but no new recordings. After a farewell tour they split in 1980. Ranno and Dube formed a new band with bass player Oeter Scance. A year later Ranno and Scance reunited with Smith and together with ex-Prism drummer Doug Madick, formed Hellcats....
