Biography
Terence Charles White, 3 March 1948, Barnstaple, Devon, England. Perhaps best known as one of Thin Lizzys ever-revolving line of guitarists, White is widely considered one of the UKs top blues rock guitarists, and has played over the years on recordings by Pink Floyd, Roger Waters, and Peter Green, among others. White (who picked up the nickname Snowy owing to his fair hair) was raised in the Isle of Wight, and began playing guitar at the age of 10. Soon afterwards, he discovered the blues and began playing in a variety of local bands. He briefly relocated to Stockholm, Sweden during the late 60s, before returning home to England at the start of the following decade. White soon became a sought after session guitarist, playing on recordings by Linda Lewis, Joan Armatrading, and even one of his early guitar heroes, Peter Green (whom he befriended).
