Biography

Patrick Brown, Georgia, USA. This R&B singer-songwriter and producer made his name as a member of the Atlanta, Georgia-based production and songwriting team Organized Noize. Alongside his partners Rico Wade and Raymond Murray, Brown was responsible for creating a number of major hits for Bubba Sparxxx, Goodie Mob, OutKast and TLC, among many others. After appearing alongside Big Rube in the Society Of Soul, Brown made his first notable foray as a solo artist in the late 90s with the independent release The Vinyl Room, credited to Sleepy’s Theme. His first success came in 2004 with the single ‘I Can’t Wait’, which was included on the Barbershop 2: Back In Business soundtrack. A projected solo album for DreamWorks Records fell through with the demise of the label, resulting in Brown signing a new contract with Big Boi of OutKast’s Purple Ribbon Records label.
