Six Feet Under
Six Feet Under was originally formed as a side project, a death metal supergroup of sorts, by Cannibal Corpse vocalist Chris Barnes, and Obituary guitarist Allen West. The pair recruited Terry Butler and Greg Gall for the brutal HAUNTED, released on Metal Blade in 1995. After a live EP, released partly to stem the rising tide of bootlegs, came 1997's ferocious WARPATH. Line-up changes, cover albums, and a guest shot from rapper Ice-T went over coolly with fans, but the outfit returned to its traditional death metal style on 2005's well-received 13.
