The huge success of the Dixie Chicks in the late 90s opened up the contemporary country market for other female country acts, the most successful of which was this family trio from Magna, Utah, USA. The Osborn sisters, Kristyn (24 August 1970), Kelsi (b. 21 November 1974) and Kassidy (b. 30 October 1976), were harmonising together from an early age, either in the family home or at neighbourhood concerts. By the late 80s the sisters had begun to take their musical talents more seriously, playing at venues throughout their home state and further afield. They relocated to Nashville, holding down day jobs as they struggled to land a recording contract.
