Sebastian Philip Bierk, 3 April 1968, Freeport, Bahamas, but raised in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada. Sebastian, the former lead singer of US glam metal bands Madam X and Skid Row, launched his solo career in 1999 with Bring Em Back Alive. Credited to Sebastian Bach And Friends, the idea for the record came about in 1995 when Bach worked on a song - a cover version of Alice Coopers Schools Out - for the soundtrack to the horror movie Scream. To that end the one-off band Last Hard Men was formed with Kelley Deal (ex-Breeders), Jimmy Chamberlin (drums, the Smashing Pumpkins) and Jimmy Flemion (guitar). An album was recorded for Atlantic Records but was quickly shelved, only gaining a release in the late 90s on Deals label Nice Records.
After several months of inactivity, Bach latched on to the idea of Deals solo vehicle (the Kelley Deal 6000) as a model for his own career path. He put together a band...
