9 October 1975, New York City, New York, USA. Sharing the same day of birth as his father, John Lennon, Seans earliest recorded performance was on his mother Yoko Onos brutal, valedictory 1981 album, Season Of Glass. Throughout the 80s he continued to make appearances on his mothers albums, and, in 1988, appeared in Michael Jacksons Moonwalker. In 1991, he was featured on Lenny Kravitzs Mama Said. Lennon attended schools in Japan, Switzerland, and America, but subsequently dropped out of an anthropology course at Columbia University to concentrate on his musical career. In the mid-90s, Lennon formed Ima (Japanese for now) with Timo Ellis (b. 7 June 1970) and Sam Koppelman. The trio backed Ono on her acclaimed 1995 collection, Rising, and joined her on the attendant world tour.
